By supplying this information, if bidding on a housing unit or parcel of real estate, you authorize us to supply this information to the sub-lessor for whose housing unit or parcel of real estate auction you are participating as a bidder, and if sub-letting a housing unit or parcel of real estate, you authorize us to supply this information to bidders for the housing unit or parcel of real estate you have listed for auction.

Use of Personal Information. ClosingBid, sometimes with third party assistance, may use your Personally Identifiable Information to verify your identity and process your order and payment through merchant account services, to generate the products and services, and to analyze our customer demographics to better serve you. Your Contact Data may be used to follow up with you on transactions initiated on the Site, respond to inquiries made through the Site, inform you of changes to the Site, and send you additional information about ClosingBid and its products. We do not provide Personally Identifiable Information to third parties, except as necessary to provide you with services. Specifically, if bidding on a housing unit or parcel of real estate and you win the bidding for such unit, we typically supply your Contact Data to the sub-lessor for whose housing unit or parcel of real estate auction you are participating as a bidder. If sub-letting a housing unit or parcel of real estate, we typically supply your Contact Data to bidders for the housing unit or parcel of real estate you have listed for auction. Further, we may be required to disclose information to third parties if we receive a subpoena or to otherwise comply with the law.

Please note that Contact Data and Traffic Data are used to gather general statistics about our customers and visitors, respectively, to enhance the consumer experience on the Site. We may also use Demographic Data in a way that does not identify you specifically or allow you to be contacted but that provides collective information about our users. For example, we may inform third parties about the number of registered users, number of unique visitors, and the pages most frequently browsed.

Opting Out. You may choose not to provide us with any Personally Identifiable Information. If you make this decision, you may visit the Site; however, ClosingBid cannot provide Services without this information.
